Passing a Leadership Baton at MCN
MCN Update:
Yesterday, August 16th, as Pastor Jay Lewis readied for his move to Nashville today, he passed the MCN Secretary/Treasurer baton to Pastor Roger Scantlin . Roger, Pastor of New Life Assembly of God in Newton has been active in the work of the MCN for two years and has faithfully served on the leadership roundtable of MCN for over a year where his vision and willingness to work hard to make a real difference has been a tremendous asset. This past month New Life Assembly and Grace Community made local history when they shared one very successful VBS together.
It is a great pleasure to welcome Roger into his new role in the leadership of the MCN. It is also a great sadness to say goodbye to one of the MCN's great founding voices as Jay Lewis retires from vocational ministry. Jay's tireless support and "whatever it takes" attitude have been a large part of the MCN's success and growth these past two years.
